Ok, no one has actually asked any questions. (I haven’t actually looked into this yet and may not do it if it’s going to screw up quests somehow. May release as a separate mod as that isn’t really “Inventory”. – I’m considering expanding this to the DATA tab to sort quests by Main, Side, Radiant. Once the GECK releases I will be looking into properly applying persistent tags to the section. – I want to add Chest, Arm L, Arm R, Leg L, and Leg R tags, but again as soon as you modify the armor the tag disappears. All your item names will revert to normal and you can have your messy inventory back…you heathen. You will still get the warning about missing content the next time you launch the game, but I assure you there will be no negative effects from loading the save. Note: This mod is safe to uninstall mid-save. Uninstall: bby pls no :(…if you must, simply deactivate through your mod manager or delete the. Manual: Why aren’t you using a mod manager? In any case move the Inventory Improvements.esp into (steamapps/common/Fallout 4/Data)

NMM/MO: Install and activate as you would any other mod.

– Once a patch is made for said mod: load order doesn’t matter as long as the patch loads after both this mod and the other mod.

– If you use a mod that changes any of these items and need a patch, just let me know so I can download the mod and make a patch! Simple as that ?

Thankfully, creating patches for other mods is incredibly easy! – If you let InvImp’s plugin load after PPP you will see the “Food -” tag but not get the value/health changes – If you let PPP’s plugin load after InvImp’s plugin you will see the value/health changes but not the “Food -” tag. The only mods that conflict with this are mods that change records on the same items.įor example: The mod Perfectly Preserved Pie Perfected changes the caps value and health restoration for the PPP. I did not include or because…yeah, I’m just not going to do that. I did not (and will not) include because you can name them whatever you want (I recommend the ammo type as a prefix for each gun) I may need the GECK to fix this (and to ensure that the tag stays at the beginning of the name) I did not include individual armor pieces (chest, arms, legs) because the tags don’t work if the piece has been modded as this renames the item. Useless – Items that have no value, interaction, or purpose.

Password – Holotapes and Notes containing passwords. Note – The same as a Holotape except with paper.
Holotape – The story of the people of the Commonwealth…and other things that are stored on holotapes. What am I doing with my life? I swear a few of these little descriptions serve a purpose. Syringe – Syringes for shooting at other things. Eat a whole bottle of Rad-X and inject 137 stimpacks? Go for it! Med – Things that improve your well being in some fashion without the risk of addiction. May or may not give rads.ĭrink II – Gives HP and bonus effect(s) (such as +AP, +SPECIAL stats, etc) Also you can get addicted which is like…a total bummer…man.ĭrink – Gives HP. This makes navigating your inventory and finding what you are looking for much easier!Ĭhem – Things you put in your body to make you forget about your dead wife and stolen child and everything you knew being replaced by an ever present haze of violence and death. So I made this mod! It adds prefix tags to a large number of items. Or, break them down for parts.Sick of sorting through the mess that is your inventory and personal chests? I was. So even though your choices in what weapon to use may seem a little overwhelming put points in what works for you, and sell everything else. If you prefer using rifles or automatic weapons, then putting points in the Commando or Rifleman perks will serve the same outcome. Pistols and pistol ammo are plentiful during the early parts of the game so putting some points in the Gunslinger perk early will give you that extra stopping power and increase their base damage numbers for your pistol arsenal. So what to carry? What’s the best type of weapon? Thankfully this all comes down to preference, and with your skill with pistols, rifles, heavy, and automatic weapons tied to four separate perks you’re better off sticking with no more than two different styles of weaponry for the most part. Of course, you’ll need to find them first. There are a lot of weapons in Fallout 4, and when you take into account the number of modifications on offer and the Legendary abilities that some carry, there’s hundreds to choose from.
